start your own thread guys. makes it easier to say gday and keep track on who is who. Id like everyone to have their own thread with thier pics in it. As things change on the car post pics etc and your evolution will all be in one place, just an idea. If you have already posted under my name start another one and i will admin it all to clean it up and keep it organized. Sorry i cant start a fresh one and move it over for you

Gday guys, My name is john and I used to own a JGS, and I am trying to track it down. It was purchased new by my dad and then I bought it off him in 1989 for the princely sum of $1.00Yes ...............$1.00. Anyway, had it for years, started a business and had to sell . It was Emerald Fire, Auto, single exhaust, JG65RU47278K as you can see it was built in Oct. 75' sold on 5th Nov 75' at Brian Wood Ford, Vic. Original plates were IHT-115 Moved to Qld and sold the car in 1999, CAN ANYONE HELP ME? Glad to see a site back up, what happened to the old one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Gossy P.S. That is my nickname

Hi John
Welcome aboard. I hope you find your Goss. I can't help with any info on it other than I thought the VIN looked like my number so I just checked and your car was built 6 units after mine.
It would be interesting to know if the other 5 in between were Green Goss Specials as well... You'd have to guess they were.
Cheers
Graeme

Thanks Graeme,
Wow, thats close. Hope I can track it down, it really means a lot to me and I shoud never have sold it in the first place. Women come and go, but the car should never ever be an option, anyhoo, hope to chat with you all and would love to see a heap of pics of all your Gossy's. Saw a nice blue one on Ford Forum at the Adelaide Drive In on Sat. night. Screening of Love the Beast and it looked like a fantastic turn out as well.
Cheers

I have tried to post pics of my car with no luck so far maybe Andrew can help with that.
I drove it out of the garage for the 1st time in 6 years on Sunday. It needs some finishing and problem solving and it should be good for reg in a week or 2. I joined the Ford Coupe Club a couple of weeks ago and hope to take it to their Hill climb club run on 26th April.
Cheers
G

Yep, that's it. Pics don't do it justice it looks better in the flesh/metal. It's more or less finished now, just need to sort the wipers and a indicator switch that cancels properly and its ready for reg.
I have tried to post pics but given up as all to hard. Tried photobucket last week and can't get my head around that either.
I will ask the guys over at aussiecoupes to update the pics when I get a minute.

It's not on the coupe club site yet, I want to finish it properly and give it back to Dean the painter for final buff, wax etc before it breaks cover formally. Need to save some coin for reg. which is a bit dissapointing when it's this close....Oh well.
The engine is a 393 with Alloy heads, Solid cam, Parker 4V and 850DP.
Fronts are 255/60/15 rear 295/50/15 Yokahama 352's.
