Hi all and welcome.
ive been waiting and waiting for the Registry forum to come back online butnothing seems to be happening. This forum is by no mean meant to replace the old one and if comes back online i will shut this one down, but in the mean time hopefully we can all keep in contact here till its back.

Good to see the new forum, I don't think the old forum will come back, It would be a good idea to let some of the old forum members know of this one, does anyone have their emails or let Matt know he might of had old contacts.

Hi guys
Andrew you have done well on the forum site, hopefully we can collect as much info as possible so that we are holding out for an offshore holder to pay the domain fees I have attempted ot contact the owners of the old site without any luck. SO I guess we are away again & the collection of info recommences
Cheers
Chris

I tried contacting John Mitchell who owns the domian name and have been told he is away on deployment with the National Guard in Bosnia, not sure how long for but has been a while now. No doubt he will let other coupe owners in the USA know when he is back so will wait until then.
Cheers

Hey Guys,
I have just managed to get back on line after a very hectic 12 months. Its great to see some old names still kicking around. Homer J, Chris, Jon & ED Taxi. Hey Chris, hope your Dad is well. Say Hi to him for us. I got pics of Phill's JGS on the wedding day. I am the worst at posting pics on these forum thingys. All I can say is the car looked great and Leanne didnt scrub up too badly either.... hehe. I have been reading the comments posted over the last 12 months and I agree that this site is not as dynamic as the last one. Matt was the glue that held it all together. However - I think it should be said that there has to be something that lovers of the Goss Special - and coupes in general - can come to and add a comment, update the resto etc. The car is an icon of Australian motoring history. Not as big a name as the XC Cobra - and a couple of others, but an icon nonetheless. I can understand that it is difficult to get on a site where there is not a great deal happening. And that is no fault of the moderator - Andrew. Doing a great job too by the way Andrew. Keeping all that crap out that ruined the last web site. So, lets do our bit here and there, where and when we can. I know first hand that other stuff gets in the way and it is difficult. As for my resto, it is progressing agonisingly slowly. The spray painter had some work in the US and there was some preliminary stuff done. The polished aluminium fuel lines measured up and run. Stainless exhaust up to the headers all retro fitted. Engine block is currently fitted to get the headers measured up and made. All the rust repairs are done and every speck has been cut out and replaced wth fresh metal. I have touched base with you guys on the forum, and now I need to touch base with the panel beater to see what the latest is. Anyhoo, that will do for now. Great to be back. Cheers
